DEA Business Opportunities

Once trained and qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor where will you get your business from?

There are a number of different ways that you will be able to gain work. The simplest would be that your training was done to fulfil a need in your current employment and so do not need to look elsewhere for new customers.  Even for this group it may still be worth looking at the links below to check for easy options to supplement an existing business.

For the new entrant to this industry the choice can be very confusing and unfortunately there is no simple solution. We all want something different and this depends on a number of different decisions such as self employed v employed, part time v full time, flexible hours v 9-5,  high income v lifestyle (or perhaps a bit of both).

We advise that you check out as many potential suppliers of work as possible. This should include your local contacts but be aware that estate agency chains may already have group deals with surveying companies and panel managers (a company that will manage independent assessors).

Below are links to companies that Elmhurst has been working closely with. They have all have good levels of potential business and so are well worth investigating. They should be contacted directly to get further details.
